The Alcona Humane Society meetings are open to the public.  Meetings are held at the Harrisville Library at 5:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.  Please call ahead if you would like to be on the agenda.  989-736-7387

The Alcona Humane Society is a 501 (c) 3 organization for the non-profitable purpose of preventing cruelty to animals, which includes activities that further our purpose such as finding good homes for homeless animals, returning lost animals to their owners, educating people about the humane treatment of animals, reducing companion animal overpopulation and relieving animal suffering.

We NEVER send pets in our care to laboratory testing facilities.
